Winter Conditioning starts Thursday, November 16.

Winter Conditioning runs from mid-November until the start of the spring season in February and is open to any Arlington 8th-12th grader. This is a general conditioning program with a specific emphasis on rowing. Sessions are held 5 days a week at W-L. No experience is necessary. This training is not mandatory but highly encouraged for any athlete thinking of rowing in the spring who is not doing another winter sport.

Returning athletes there will be a team meeting in the cafeteria on Thursday, November 16th at 3:30 pm followed by a team workout.

Novice rowers will begin on Monday, Nov 27th with a team meeting in the cafeteria at 3:30 pm followed by a workout.

Before winter training, you must complete the WL Athlete Registration

You can also get a head start on spring paperwork by completing the PBC Waiver and renewing your USRowing Registration.

Freshman/Novice will need to pass the swim test before going on the water at the start of the spring season.  The coaching staff will be organizing swim testing after winter break.  Novice athletes should stay tuned for further information.
