Come to Our Interest Meeting and/or Green Days to Give Rowing a Try!
We’d love for you to join our team! Trying a new sport in high school can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to help. Come to our Fall Interest Meeting and Green Days to get a head start on the spring season.
What Are Green Days?
They’re a chance to meet our coaches and current team members, hop into a boat, and learn the basics of rowing. Parents are welcome, too, to hear more about the team and what to expect.
Fall Interest Meeting:

3:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Washington-Liberty High School Little Theater
Green Days / 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. at Columbia Island Marina:

To Row on the Water at Green Days, You Must Pass a Swim Test.
Friday swim tests will take place at the W-L Pool at 3:30 p.m. on September 12, September 19, and October 24. The swim test consists of swimming three lengths of the pool (any stroke, untimed), treading water for 1 minute, and putting a life jacket on while in the water.
