\"W-LOn September 21, 2024, W-L Crew alumni, former and current coaches, and Boosters gathered at the Potomac Boat Club to celebrate the team’s 75th anniversary.<\/p>\n

The celebration included speeches by Charley Butt (Head Coach of the Harvard Men\u2019s Heavyweight Crew), Tom Chisnell (former W-L Crew Coach), and Kara McPhillips (current W-L Crew Head Coach). Attendees enjoyed an alumni row, rekindled past and present friendships, and cut into a special 75th anniversary cake. It was a nostalgic and fun time for all.<\/p>\n

During the event, the team received generous donations from our alumni, parents, coaches, and corporate sponsor Wealth Enhancement Group. We are especially grateful to the Class of 1960 and Chuck Veatch for facilitating such meaningful contributions to our W-L Crew team. We appreciate you so much!<\/p>\n
